Obama Gossip - Mccain Vs. Obama In Health Care
Some significant differences in our presidential candidates intentions have emerged in the recent debates. One of the most prominent issues being discussed is health insurance. With all the commotion over the rising costs of everyday necessities like food and gas, and the national debt, most Americans are not thinking of the portion of their pay that is going toward medical care and insurance plans. Since 2000 health insurance premiums have doubled. This means that employers are having to make choices between their own health insurance and their employees'. or hiring more employees. The choice for a small business owner is simple, insuring their employees is too costly. You may ask what the candidates have to say about health care and how they will reform our current situation...
The more proactive plan belongs to Obama. His will work to give everyone, including small business owners, the chance to buy into larger companies for more cost effective insurance rates. It also favors paying doctors for wellness achievements and follow ups instead of procedures. It also addresses the issues with the insurance companies directly, which is where much of the problems lie anyways.
The McCain plan seems to really be just to throw a chunk of money at the individual and not make any real changes to the system what so ever. So one has to wonder what is going to happen over the long term under this plan. Even if McCain throws some cash out to the individual, how will they be able to afford health insurance if the costs are going to keep doubling over the next 8 years?
The question remains as to whether changing the health care system is a reality. It is high time someone looks at the system and can devise a way to ensure Americans get the health care they need and deserve.
After looking at both candidates, Obama seems to be the one with the most conducive plan for health care. It will let Americans get the medical care they need, but we will have to wait and see.
